ENERGY: Aisha Buhari unveils LNG ABUJA 11 in South Korea!! congratulations Sai Baba!

Nigeria today, added to her fleets of LNG, and this was done in far away South Korea by no other than the wife of the President Mrs Aisha Buhari.

The new LNG named, "ABUJA 11" will be added to the already existing ones, and is expected to increase the annual production from 22million tones currently being produce.  It is expected to serve the European market, Asia and North America, carrying products from the Bonny Gas company, a subsidiary of the NLNG.

The new vessel will help boost the country’s economy, and generate more revenue to the government just like the other ones; said Mrs Buhari at the unveiling ceremony.

She was quoted to have said: 

“For example, more than $10 million dollars was generated from the export of quality Nigerian materials to Korean shipyards”,

She also gave a speech sighting the similarities between South Korea and Nigeria, the resource endowment of both countries, their hunger for development and employment to better the lots of their people, and gave assurance to the South Korean business men and women about investing in the country, and that despite the challenges of the international crude oil price, Nigeria and South Korea are crucial to the world energy market. 

She said:
 “I stand by this principle because that is how great countries like south Korea were built.

“Nothing makes me proud than the knowledge that nigerians and nigerian companies actively participated and benefited directly from the construction of the new (ship) vessel.

The ship has nigeria written all over it”, she said.
