EPL: Chelsea still unbeaten in the EPL in 12 games, as Ivanovic header gives the London side 1-2 victory of Southampton!!

Chelsea keep their unbeaten record, as they beat Southampton 1-2 to move up to the first half of the EPL table.   The Chelsea coach has lost just one game since his introduction to the EPL, in 25 games as  Chelsea coach.


The game was even from the first start of the first half, with Southampton looking to place long balls behind Ivanovic and Cahill through to Long and his strike partner. This was the game plan of the Southampton side, that troubled the Chelsea defence, all through the first half.

Southampton got the lead late in the first half, with a gifted ball from Baba Rahman to Long, who pounced on the chance to give Southampton the lead.

The second half started much like the first half, with Southampton continuing from where they left from the first half, but the London side gathered the momentum, putting out passes to Diego and Oscar, but it was Febregas who was on hand to give Chelsea the equalizer, and Ivannovic making it two, late in the second half, with a fine header from a corner; as Chelsea ran home with the victory

This victory for Chelsea, ended the six games unbeaten run for Southamtpn, and the clean sheet for Fraser Forster.

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
