PHOTO: Health scare in Abuja as "mysterious" headache,and stomach pain kill 16 in Abuja community!

According to a news report from Vanguard, a Mysterious headache and stomach pains have killed 16 children and youths in  Saburi 1, a village opposite Mopol Barracks along Kubwa expressway, Abuja. 

This is coming days after a mysterious sickness killed over 20 persons in a Lagos suburb, another one in Ogun state, Ondo and now Abuja!

According to the report, a visit was paid to the  palace of the Chief of the village, Alhaji Mohammed Yamawo to hear from him, but he was said to have traveled out of Abuja for an urgent assignment.

But the Son of the village Chief, Alhaji Halidu Mohammed confirmed that 16 persons whose ages ranged between 10 and 25 years had been officially reported at the palace to have died within the last two weeks.


Aminat and Aishat daughters of Alhaji Ibrahim Nuhu, aged 12 and 10, who both died of headache ands abdominal pains within four days interval & Dickson, aged 15, son of Mr Joshua Abuwata who died of headache, confirmed died on arrival at a hospital.

The ministry of health should try as much as possible to carry out health awareness around the country, especially in the rural areas, as to educate the people on healthy living and the importance of a clean environment to their health.

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
