Gareth Bale has just hit another record, replacing Ronaldo as Real Madrid highest paid player ever!! with his new six year deal, worth £600,000 a week...yes a week! and €1billion buy-out clause

Bale will take home approximately £350,00-a-week after tax – more than Ronald’s current wage of £290,000.

 Toshack said: “I see a Real Madrid enjoying Bale at the top of his game for two or three years. I believe Bale will win the Ballon d’Or in his career. In a few years, he will become the leader.”
The Welshman has scored 62 goals – including 50 in La Liga – in 135 appearances to become increasingly influential in the Real Madrid side as part of the BBC forward line with Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
Bale has been linked with a move to United but with three years left on his previous deal, he has now agreed a contract which could see him stay in Spain for nine years and until a fortnight before his 33rd birthday.
“Real Madrid CF and Gareth Bale have agreed to the extension of the player’s contract, which ties him to the club until June 30, 2022,” said a club statement.

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
