PHOTO: Marcos Alonso does not believe in “unbeaten runs”, but feels Chelsea’s game against Tottenham is just like any other game...nothing special

Marcos Alonso who along with his Chelsea team mates have been in great form, is set to face a much more tougher challenge in Tottenham, and the blues defender feels Chelsea would have had much more rest before the game and that is one advantage Chelsea would have over Spurs.
Tottenham is the only team in the English Premier League that are still unbeaten, winning six games and drawing six, while Chelsea has won their six last games, without conceding a single goal.

Spurs are in the Champions league, and would be playing Monaco on Wednesday, and Chelsea defender feels three days is much time for them to prepare to face Chelsea, but insist Chelsea not playing in the Champions league or Europe, could be an advantage.
‘Well, playing Tottenham in three days you can recover, very well, but maybe it can be an advantage for us,’ He said.
Last six Premier League results
Chelsea: W W W W W W
Tottenham: W D D D D W
‘We have to think, game by game, and now we have Tottenham at home. It is going to be a massive three points for us and we have to rest now and then start getting ready for Saturday.’
‘Lots of people [say how big this match is], more than the players – it is the fans, [who tell me].
I know they always remind me that this London derby is special and hopefully we can get the three points on Saturday. I don’t like statistics [about unbeaten runs], but hopefully we can keep winning at home against them.’
