According to media report, Wenger has refuted the claims by his player Mathieu Debuchy, that he blocked his transfer request to join Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, saying that led to the two of them not speaking for some time now...
In his response, the Arsenal manager, laugh-off any truth in the claim, while being 'surprised' by them, saying they (him and Debuchy) have been in speaking terms, as he makes it a duty to communicate with all his players...both during and off season...He said:

‘Yes, of course, we speak, we communicate with all the players,’
 ‘It’s a little bit of a frustrated article from a player who was injured.
‘If I gave him last year the opportunity to go to Bordeaux on loan, but we had nobody coming in for him during the summer period.
 ‘There are some things in the article that are not true, we didn’t block any move.’
Asked about United’s alleged offer for Debuchy, Wenger replied: 
‘They never made an offer for him, that’s completely untrue.
‘It’s sometimes surprising to hear things like that.’

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
