PHOTO: English referee, Mark Clattnburg said he wouldn’t mind a switch to the Chinese super league, to help develop the league, after 12years in EPL

The craze for Chinese money is definitely not limited to footballers, as the Chinese Super league are planning heavily (with their money) on who they can get to come on board , and help put their league where they want it to be...
Though the focus before now, has been on players, especially those ones that are near their retirement age, but can still attract crowd to the stadium...

But there has been a little twist to all of this, as an offer has been made to one of English and Europe best referees, Mark Clattenburg to make the switch to China...and the English man, does not see anything wrong dumping the best league in the world, for a huge pay at a far east league bearing watched by football fans around the world...
I myself cannot mention one club in the Chinese league or their players...aside some crop of explorers that recently left europe top leagues for the big pay in china...
While speaking on this, Clattnburg to reporters that:

‘China are certainly looking to develop their football, looking at their signings and their recruitment,’.

‘If an opportunity came along – I am contracted to the Premier League – but I have to look at my long-term strategy of my career. How long can I last as a referee? I have been in the Premier League 12 years. It’s been a wonderful 12 years.
‘There is no offer on the table but if they made an offer it would be under consideration. But at the moment I still enjoy working for the Premier League and UEFA.
‘Money has never been a driver as a referee.
‘It’s about the drive of doing something different, maybe helping the recruitment.

‘If it didn’t happen now I will be looking in the future at that, a bit like Howard Webb has done (in Saudi Arabia) where you are helping another country develop refereeing.’
