‘It’s intense,’ ‘He likes to work. We train hard. Sometimes it’s two hours of intense training. We always have a plan going into the game and we have to trust in the plan. We’ve done that.’

  
‘We have a whole week to train so there’s more training. There’s no rest. Sometimes he gives us one day,’ the 28-year-old added.

‘But we like the way we train and we trust the manager. But we miss the Champions League. To play Champions League is good and that’s why we are working hard this season to get back.”

‘The way we are training makes us more confident in the games too. We can run and put pressure on the opponents. And when you win game by game, this brings even more confidence.

‘We have to keep it going. The target is to stay together and to play together. If we trust in our team-mates then we have a great chance to win the title this season.’

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
