The plan by FIFA to expand countries participation in the World Cup, may be facing a huge challenge, as the World top destination and number one when it comes to club world football, Europe and UEFA, are threatening a boycott...

This the Association promise to do, if their demand of additional three teams-countries, to make a total of sixteen teams in the 2026 world Cup are not met by FIFA...

This demand could have a negative effect on other continents hoping to have more teams participate in the World cup...such as Africa and Asian countries...But the UEFA President Ceferin, is not bothered, saying: 

 “UEFA was the only confederation that did not want it, but we had no chance.
“And that’s why we decided to fight for as many European participants as possible.”

 “The quality is in Europe and South America,”
“That’s just the way it is. We demand at least 16 places that would be the worst-case scenario.”

He continued: ‘ let’s not be arrogant but in terms of quality and turn over, Europe is number one...we are not just another continental association....

you can’t just outvote us every time...if that happens, it could lead to grave problems between FIFA and UEFA. But FIFA’s aware of it and that is why it won’t happen’

...Wow! this is far more worst than what a typical ‘Donald Trump’ would say...I am guessing the new UEFA President is  a novice in world football, and for him to threaten FIFA with a boycott, and forgetting that the world  cup can still take place with or without Europe, shows his knowledge on football administration is very limited...


Other countries cannot cow under you or Association because you feel you have the ‘best league in the world, which is clearly dominated and made popular by African, South America and Asian players...even North Americans, even though they play their football with their hands, also contributed immensely....

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
