After suffering three defeats in three major competition, Liverpool are doing all within their power to turn results around, as the set to take on Chelsea on Tuesday...
Philippe Coutinho who just signed a contract extension with the club, thereby putting to rest speculations of a possible move to Spain, is sure his team mates are capable of returning to winning ways....He said:

‘We have to lift ourselves for Chelsea, that is very important.
‘We have another opportunity straight away to bounce back, and it is a good opportunity, a big game against Chelsea.
‘That is it,’.

 ‘We have a few days to prepare everything, and to go again and that is what we must do now.’
Talking about why he decided to sign a new contract with Liverpool, despite the likes of Barcelona and Madrid having interest , he has this to say:
 ‘I signed a new contract and there was a message.
 ‘I am happy to sign, and I would like to say it is not about one week, no matter how bad that is, it is about the future with this squad,’ he said.

‘Yes it has been a bad week, but we are looking beyond that. Of course we believe we can win titles under this manager – we are confident that will happen.

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
