PHOTO: President Buhari writes 'Nigerians': ‘I will be staying longer than expected, thank you for the good wishes’

The President today, was alleged to have written to ‘Nigerians’ thanking them of his plan to prolong his stay in London, and also thanking them for all the good wishes he and his family has been receiving both home and abroad....

This according to report, was sent through his Special Adviser on media, Mr. Femi Adesina...the statement reads:

“President Muhammadu Buhari thanks millions of Nigerians who have been sending good wishes and praying for his health and well-being in mosques and churches throughout the country.

The President is immensely grateful for the prayers, show of love and concern. President Buhari wishes to reassure Nigerians that there is no cause for worry. During his normal annual check-up, tests showed he needed a longer period of rest, necessitating the President staying longer than originally planned.”

 ....I hope even though I don’t think this ‘letter’ will not receive any blacklash from Nigerians like the previous ones written to the Senate...hopefully the Yar’dua scenario is not what is playing out here...from ten days to receive ‘test results’ to this...Nigeria needs

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
