The Red Chamber of the National Assembly today, suspended former majority leader, Senator Ali Ndume, in what Senate Ethics Committee, said was a ‘false allegations’ on his fellow Senators...through order 14 and 15 he raised he plenary last week...
The Senate Committee that tried Senate President Saraki and Dino Melaye, concluded their reports, and afterward, cleared both senators, while making recommendation on the Senate to Suspend Ali Ndume for raising false allegation on his colleagues...

The committee that was headed by Senator Samuel Anyanwu-led committee on Public Petitions, Ethics and Privileges, gave a suspension for one legislative year on Senator Ali Ndume on his role in the whole drama, that according to some Senators, is capable of destroying the integrity of the Senate...
Senator Ali Ndume, had earlier in the week accused Senator Dino Melaye of Certificate forgery, and the Senate President of acquiring  a range Rover SUV bullet proof jeep amounting to N370milliom without paying the necessary Custom Duties...and there after asked the Senate to probe the case, basing his source of information/allegation on social media reports...

...the suspension according to the Public petitions and Ethics committee, is to sound a note of warning to others who plan to rubbish the Senate President and the Senate...in essence, this was to serve a deterrent to other senators...

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
