PHOTO: Oby Ezekwesili lashed-out at Nigerian Youths who feel entertained by the ‘tragi-comedy’ going on in the Senate

The former Minister of Education, Dr. Obey Ezekwesili has lashed out heavily at Nigerians especially the youths that sees the current happenings in the Nigerian Senate, as a ‘comedy’ ...
She said rather than kick strongly to it, they have allowed themselves to be used as a tool in the whole drama...which she has tagged ‘Tragi-Comdy’...yet Nigerians are 'laughing'...

In her post on her twitter page, the former minister said, why Nigerians would feel entertained by Senators who go home with over N100Billion of their money annually, just to sit and talk nothing, but things that are irrelevant to Nigeria and Nigerians, but to them...she said:
“Be laughing while tragi-comedians that COST more than N100 Billion every year carry on at the @nassnigeria . Better FIGHT for your FUTURE
“The 8th @NGRSenate & @HouseNGR have done NOTHING for CITIZENS except PAY themselves FAT ALLOWANCES, engage in SCANDALS & produce COMEDIES.
“You are a young Nigerian &cannot see the wicked hand you are being dealt? You “entertained” by @NGRSenate @HouseNGR , I kuku sorry for YOU.
“Balance there and be laughing, tweeting & swaggering while the folks in @NGRSenate @HouseNGR joke daily with your future. Na YOU sabii #End.”
The #BringBackOurGirls advocate also questioned the lawmakers attitude to finding the schoolgirls abducted from Chibok by the Boko Haram insurgents.
She noted that lawmakers in the US and UK showed more “concern for abducted #ChibokGirls” than their Nigerian counterparts.
She said, “By the way, how much did @NGRSenate Say it paid for that famous Range Rover it bought for Senate President @bukolasaraki? In this POVERTY?
“Lawmakers in the US and United Kingdom have shown concern for abducted #ChibokGirls but not their own who are BUSY spending ALLOWANCES.

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
