PHOTO: Presidency gives update on President Muhammadu Buhari’s health, says: ‘no cause for alarm’

The Presidency today, through its spokesman and Minister of Information and Culture, Mr Lai Mohammed, said during the Federal Executive Council meeting, that there is no cause for alarm on the health status of the President...

The Minister said that it is not abnormal for anybody to fall sick, said the President is doing well, and that he is being taken care of by competent hands in the UK, and  will be back soon....
 
The Minister while thanking Nigerians for their prayers and support for the President, said, the government is working and moving as it has always been, and there is no cause for alarm....he said:

“On the issue of the President’s health, Mr President is in very competent hands and there is no cause for alarm...”

On the issue of Department and some Ministries who are yet to submit their various budget...the Minister said:

“Ministries, Departments and Agencies are still going through their budgets and they are coordinating with the Minister of Budget and National Planning...and very soon all will be sorted out” he concluded....

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
