The Chief Executive Director of Arsenal football club, Mr Ivan Gazidis has confirmed the cancellation of the planned live screening of the FA cup game between Arsenal and Chelsea at the emirate...

The cancellation according to the Director, was due to some security concern, and given how the Police and other security forces have been stretched,aftermath of the terror attack in Manchester, with the FA cup coming, it is only wise to call off the live screening for the safety of fans....the director said:

 “As always, the safety of our supporters and staff is paramount and we are in close contact with security services.

“After taking their advice we have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel the screening and potential parade.
“We are sorry for any disappointment this causes but it is in everyone’s best interests.”

...But a promise have been made to those who bought tickets will get a total refund...

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
