PHOTO: See American man wore a pasta strainer on his head for his driver’s license photo
An American man, who referred to himself as a “Pastafarian”
wore a pasta strainer on his head, for his driver’s license passport photograph....
The driver as reported by CNN, is Sean Corbett of Chandler, Arizona...who had tried
in the last two years to get the photo on his driver’s license but failed, finally
got his wish...to put on the pasta strainer for his driver’s license...He said:
"It's kind of been a
personal mission to keep pushing and not let the naysayers say I can't,"
...and
his reason for putting on the pasta strainer, was because he is a “Pastafarain”...as
he said:
"Pastafarianism is part of the church of the Flying Spaghetti
Monster, which says the world was created 5,000 years ago by a Flying Spaghetti
Monster," Corbett said.
Most states require people to take their driver's license photos free of
headgear or other items, but exceptions are sometimes made for religious
reasons. So that's why Corbett feels he should be able to wear the pasta
strainer in his photo.
