The English premier league this weekend, will experience two of the biggest games that could change the season for some of the clubs engaged in those games. Though there's still that argument that the season is still fresh and teams such as Manchester City for instance who are already blowing away teams will sill hit a bump.

Most manager and fans alike, rather than face reality about the abilities of the Pep Guardiola team and the likelihood of them winning the league this season, given their present form, are living in denial of 'the season is still fresh' talk.

I understand the Premier League tradition, but we cannot hide from the fact that the Manchester City has all it takes to run away with the league already.

That said, the game on Sunday between Chelsea and Manchester United for me, will be the biggest game of the weekend, as there is just so much at stake. Aside Conte's risking losing his job, Jose Mourinho also risked the rot of the Manchester United fans, if he ends up getting a draw or losing the game, with Manchester City playing Arsenal earlier.

But in all, it would be a battle for pride, and Chelsea is already preparing last season's league player of the year, Kante who has been on the sideline to featured in the game. This has attracted a lot of attention after coach Conte insists there is still need to assess him. See his comments and that of the fans

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
