A suspect has been arrested in the fatal shooting of conservative activist  Charlie Kirk, officials announced Friday. Tyler Robinson was allegedly the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk on Wednesday, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox confirmed at a press conference in Utah on Friday.  "We got him," Cox said at a press conference Friday. The press conference came soon after President Donald Trump confirmed they had the suspected shooter in custody. "I think, with a high degree of certainty, we have him in custody," Trump said on "Fox & Friends" earlier Friday morning.  He later added, "Subject to change but the facts are the facts we have the person that we think is the person we're looking for." Charlie Kirk suspected killer has been identified as Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old  Utah  resident, DailyMail reports.  According to the report by Daily Mail, law enforcement sources revealed that Charlie Kirk suspected killer, Robinson was taken into custody as the alleged assassin  who killed Kirk at a rally at Utah Valley University in Utah on Wednesday .     The  alleged killer confessed to his father  Matt, who is a a 27-year veteran of the Washington County Sheriff's Department, sources told Daily Mail. Charlie Kirk’s  casket arrived in his home state of Arizona aboard Air Force Two on Thursday as Vice President JD Vance honored the conservative activist with a final flight, Associated Press (AP) reports. According to the report by AP, Vance’s wife, Usha, stepped off the plane with Kirk’s widow, Erika. Both women wore black and sunglasses. The vice president was a few steps behind in a dark suit. Air Force Two arrived in Phoenix after a short flight from Salt Lake City, about 40 miles (64 kilometers) from Orem, Utah, where  Kirk was assassinated  while speaking at Utah Valley University.
