PHOTO: Wycombe Striker Adebayo Akinfenwa racially abused by some Cambridge fans in a league match game on Saturday

Image
According to report, Wycombe Striker Akinfenwa was racially abused by some fans at a league game between Wycombe and Cambridge and the striker is clearly not happy about the incident, with referee acknowledging it on his match report. The game which Wycombe won,  saw the striker taking to his twitter page to show his displeasure while also sending out a message about kicking-out racism. The twitter message reads: "Good 3pts 2day, great support again. It's a shame that a small group of Cambridge fans focus on colour rather than the game #KickOutRacism."

PHOTO: Arsenal defender Bellerin signs £100,000 a week contract extension, putting to rest speculations on a possible Barcelona move

Image
Bellerin is without doubt, the fastest and best defender in the English Premier League ( I stand to be corrected anyway), and it is not a surprise to see that he has been attracting interests from clubs around Europe. The defender has been ruled out for four weeks, but sensing a possibility of Barcelona getting a hold on the defender, the London side, has given the defender a much more better contract package that is too good to turn down, which the player have since signed, closing all interests from other clubs, especially Barcelona.

PHOTO: Jose Mourinho clearly cannot get enough of Arsene Wenger as he takes another jibe at the Arsenal manager, calling him a failure for 14years! lol

Image
Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho, despite his departure from London to Manchester, his still having problem closing his two eyes at night, without a thought of Arsene Wenger running through his mind...Lol The two met over the weekend, and the game which United clearly needed a win, and lost in the closing minutes, by a Giroud header, sees Jose Mourinho clearly still hurt from that, and calling out the Gunners boss seems to be his only way of healing from that lost!

PHOTO: Marcos Alonso does not believe in “unbeaten runs”, but feels Chelsea’s game against Tottenham is just like any other game...nothing special

Image
Marcos Alonso who along with his Chelsea team mates have been in great form, is set to face a much more tougher challenge in Tottenham, and the blues defender feels Chelsea would have had much more rest before the game and that is one advantage Chelsea would have over Spurs. Tottenham is the only team in the English Premier League that are still unbeaten, winning six games and drawing six, while Chelsea has won their six last games, without conceding a single goal.

PHOTO:After defeat to Chelsea, on loan Arsenal defender Calum Chambers asked Diego Costa for his shirt, and Arsenal fans went nuts on twitter

Image
Arsenal fans showed their displeasure, as one of their own who is on-loan at Middlesbrough, asked Diego, a Chelsea player for a shirt!...lol But I do not blame the player though, as his performance against Diego Costa was really good, and showed he is a different player with Middlesbrough, than he was at Arsenal. That said, I think Arsenal fans do not really have that believe in their team anylonger, as few of them secretly admire other teams in the Premier League, but are too scared to express their support in public... Seeing Chambers asking for a shirt from Chelsea player, did not come as a surprise to me.... clearly showing his love for Costa, and probably Chelsea....see some of the tweets from Arsenal fans...lol

PHOTO: Janet Jackson reached out to her fans, via twitter, saying she’s doing well, after months of silence

Image
Janet Jackson who earlier in the year, announced her pregnancy, has been out of public eye after the announcement.  Even when her ex-husband came out to say they have a “secret daughter” she or her publicist did not put out any statement regarding that, until suddenly she appeared on her twitter handle to deliver a message to her fans. If she has put to bed, we definitely cannot tell, but according to media source the singer is planning a pick a name for her child to pay tribute to her late brother...we might be seeing Michael Jackson soon...see the tweet:

PHOTO: Kim Kardashian calls Rob’s Dream the cutest baby she has ever seen! shoo! the pikin fine like that,,lol

Image
The Keeping Up with the Kardashian star, and wife of Kanye West, Kim Kardashian West, has been praising her brother Rob and wife Blac Chyna for their new born. Kim has also showed her love for the baby, saying this was the first time for years now, she has seen her brother Rob genuinely happy, thank God for baby Dream. she said. According to a close source, who spoke to the media, the source was quoted to have said: “Kim takes her job as an aunt very seriously,”  “Kim was excited to spend time with Dream. She loves babies and thinks Dream is the cutest.”

PHOTO: Eden Hazard thanks Arsenal for helping Chelsea turn their season around

Image
Chelsea are the most improved team in the English Premier League this season, considering where they finished last season. Their impressive run and not conceding in five games now, says alot about the new Chelsea under new Italian manager, Conte.  This form according to Chelsea play-maker, Hazard, was due to the heavy beating they suffered in the hands of Arsenal. Hazard speaking on the form of Chelsea said, after the defeat at the emirate in the hands of Arsenal, that was a turning point in Chelsea, as they build on the defeat, to be the top contenders in the league, and no team wants to play them in the form they are now. He said:  ‘everything changed after the Arsenal clash’

PHOTO: Guardiola praises match winner of the day, Yaya Toure for saving the day for his team, saying he is “physical better than ever”

Image
Yaya Toure who got a surprised call up to the first team of Pep Guardiola’s team in their away game against Crystal Palace today, and scored a brace to take Man.City to second in the league table, has earned the praised of his coach with his outstanding performance. Although Yaya Toure earned his way into the team, I still do not think he was called up to the team by manager Pep Guardiola, because he is more better (on current form) than others who were deliberately  left on the bench. But I think he was called up because of the decision to rest other players for the crucial champions league...Yaya should be in that team if they really want to go far both in the league and in the Champions league...He has shown what he is made of today. Pep Guardiola while speaking at his post-match interview, said:

PHOTO: Jose Mourinho calls Arsenal “the lucky ones” while faulting Marcus Rashford, for the equalising goal from Giroud

Image
The goal came in at 98 th minutes, and it was a well taken cross from Arsenal’s Chamberlain, after beating Rashford for Giroud to net home the equaliser. The Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho seeing the way Rashford was easily beaten by Alex Chamberlain at that time of the match, was furious with the player, and hit hard at the player at his post match interview...am sure Rashford himself will not be pleased with those words coming from his manager... Mourinho after the game said:   ‘The only time we had a situation that we couldn’t resolve they scored a goal, so they were the lucky ones and we were the unlucky ones,’

PHOTO: Yaya Toure hit a brace on his return to first team football, Man.City beat Crystal Palace 1-2

Image
The re-introduction of the once “engine-room” of the Manchester City team into Pep Guardiola’s team, Yaya Toure, came as a surprise to many. After reports in some news media reported that there is no way Yaya could make it back into the team, following his agent reluctance to apologies to manager Pep...well, seems the two have settled their differnces, as Yaya Toure got to place his first game under Pep, capping it with two vital goals for City.

PHOTO: Jose Mourinho blast team defence, saying the result against Arsenal feels like a lost to him! lol

Image
The game againt Arsenal, for Jose Mourinho was a very disappointing one, as his team gave away precious three points to draw the game in the dying minutes of the game. After getting ahead in the second half, with Mata beautiful outside foot hit, Jose Mourinho side gained full control of the game, while breaking up Arsenal’s attempts to play their through passes to their forward players. But the tactics did not last much, as once again, Olivier Giroud came from bench to head home an equaliser for the Gunners to take home a point from Jose Mourinho’s team. Jose Mourinho who had earlier pointed a finger at his players for defending poorly, said at the post match interview when asked about the result, said:

PHOTO: Arsene Wenger, apologies for his “on and off” relationship with United Manager, Jose Mourinho, saying, “even God made mistakes” lol

Image
Following all the “bad press” surrounding the build up to today's game between Manchester United and Arsenal and the much talked and televised rift between both managers. Arsene Wenger not to be put on the spot, have said what seems to be like an apology either to the FA or Arsenal fans or maybe Jose Mourinho, but we cannot tell, just so the press can get over themselves about his records with Jose Mourinho. He   said: “I make mistakes in my life, and I regret everyone I make, believe me. I would have loved to have a life without any mistakes. But unfortunately I am not even sure that Jesus did that.”

PHOTO: I felt more like a footballer at Chelsea than in Arsenal, as I won trophies there -William Gallas

Image
The one player that have played in the top three London clubs (Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs), has revealed his best and most memorable time in football, and club where he enjoyed playing the game of football. William Gallas who is a former French International and a World Cup winner, while granting an interview, said his time at Chelsea was his best, as he won something at the club, and he was taught the “winning mentality” at the club.

PHOTO: The Trump-effects seems to be gathering momentum, as a West Virginia Mayor resigns after calling US first lady, Michelle Obama “an ape on heels” wow!

Image
This is definitely not a good time for Americans, especially African-Americans (whatever that word means), and all those tagged “illegal” in the US, as the just concluded Presidential election that saw Donald Trump win against Clinton’s popular votes, has seen pro-Trump supports venting their hate speech on minorities in the state...the Obamas are also not left out... The latest one is that of a West Virginia mayor who was alleged to have resign, after calling out Michelle Obama, posting in her facebook page that the first lady is an “ape on heels” and she is tired of seeing her face at the White house...

PHOTO: I have been there, done it and If you don’t respect my person, at least respect my achievements- Jose Mourinho to Arsene Wenger

Image
The English premier league is here again, and the game we all have been waiting for (except for Wenger and Arsenal fans) is here, and is Manchester United and Arsenal...with Jose Mourinho at the other end... The two managers as usual, have spoken out about the match, and their rivalry, with the Arsenal manager calling out Jose Mourinho, saying he should allow a “beautiful game” and give football fans what they want to see, while Jose Mourinho who will never let such things go without giving his own reply, said Wenger should respect his achievement... Jose Mourinho while at the press conference for the game, said:

PHOTO: Nigeria going to the FIFA World Cup, is a waste of time and the nation’s resources, when they know they cannot win, why participate- Sports Minister, Dalung

Image
Yes, I was also shocked to hear that from not just an “ordinary person” but from a Sport minister of a nation, like Nigeria.  Even Republic of Chad as small as that country is, would “kill” to be at the FIFA world cup...I thought I Saw him at the Akwa Ibom stadium celebrating Nigeria’s victory over Algeria during the World Cup Qualifiers...yeye dey smell...Nigeria Trump minister! The minister who was alleged to have made that statement that he was against Nigeria Super Eagles participating in the world cup, on an interview he granted to of Voice America, was quoted to have said:

PHOTO: Leaving phone to charge overnight, Girl got her entire bedroom burnt down!

Image
This news got me thinking, as i have been guilty in several occasion, charging my phone on top of my bed, and most times on my pillow just to avoid vibration in case it rings... With this st ory, I now better now not to place my phone on top of my bed while charging (though, I have had stories of phone explosions before now, but with this, I have to be more careful now)... Caitlin Rae Durant, a 15-year-old from Morfa Bychan in north Wales,  was reported to have got her room and some part of her parents building burnt down just for charging her phone.

PHOTO: Manchester United risk losing out in Adidas’s £750m kit deal if they miss out in the top four at the end of the season

Image
Jose Mourinho’s United   have not been having it easy for over a month now, as they have struggled between games, and their current form could hurt the club if cares are not taken. United risked losing over £21million  in their £750m kit deal with Adidas, if they fail to finish in the top four this season. They finished fifth last season under former boss Louis van Gaal, with his successor Jose Mourinho under huge pressure to deliver a top-four finish this term at the very least.

PHOTO: Arsenal fans cannot stand the thought of Carl Jenkinson replacing Hector Bellerin as Arsenal takes on United, see their hilarious tweets..lol

Image
The game between Manchester United and Arsenal has always been one of the games in the English Premier league that football fans all over the world look up to, as both teams have supports that cut across continents. The game will be the first time Jose Mourinho and Wenger would meet for the first time, as United manager, and if the Premier record or edge Jose Mourinho have over Arsenal’s manager, would continue come Saturday, all depend on the players...

PHOTO: Thierry Henry- The football fans world over, are hungry and waiting for Wenger to finally beat Jose Mourinho come Saturday

Image
After he suffered one of his heaviest defeat in the hands of his former club Chelsea, Jose Mourinho is to come against Arsene Wenger   this weekend, and a former Arsenal player says the football world, cannot wait for Wenger to finally “beat” Jose Mourinho in the Premier league. Going into the game, both teams have to win, as a defeat for either side could see them drop some points and give the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and City the opportunity the chance to extend their lead on the top of the log.

While replying to McGregor gesture, He simply said: "I tried to make the fight happen between me and Conor McGregor," "We wasn't able to make the fight happen, so we must move on." PHOTO: After first game for Spain, Manchester United star, Ander Herrera promised to frame "debut shirt"! Lol

Image
If you frame your shirt just for a call up game that was not even a competitive match, just an ordinary friendly, i wonder what you would do if you win the world cup...tattoo the shirt on your body i guess...lol  After earning his call up from his national team Spain, 27-year-old Herrera, just could not hide his joy, as he said after the game that it was all he had wished for, and he would definitely frame his shirt to remember the day.

But the Champ, who has been in New York partying, has hit out at Floyd, calling him out for a showdown, with the right amount of money.  Wow! this guy must be insane to think he can fight Floyd with all his technical abilities in the ring, and even though, McGregor is a good kick boxing fighter, all what Floyd needs is just one knockout punch and the fight is done!...Floyd is also not that cheap!

PHOTO: More trouble for Arsene Wenger, as Santi Cazorla confirms he could be out for weeks!

Image
The November nemesis is definitely at Arsenal’s door yet again, as key players have been ruled out for injuries, with the Manchester United game just a few days away. Arsenal are without the likes of Hector Bellerin, Sanchez and now Cazorla just added himself to the list of injured players, and Wenger is not too happy about the news.

PHOTO: Chelsea goal-keeper, Courtois praises United mate, De Gea, calls him the best in the English Premier League

Image
Courtois saying in an interview that Manchester United goalkeeper is the best in the league, shows how a gentle man Chelsea goalkeeper is, and although lovers of the English Premier knows that the United keeper is the best, but him saying it, just shows his class! The  Chelsea and Belgium international  who along with De Gea have been linked to Real Madrid, has told those who care to listen that he is happy at Chelsea, and that any interest from other clubs is normal, but he has a contract he has to see through with Chelsea,

PHOTO: Kolo Toure hit-out at Pep Guardiola, while telling Brother “go to a place where people want you”

Image
Kolo Toure who himself was a former City player, before leaving for Liverpool and now Celtic, is well known to speak his mind (not always clear though). The statement credited to him about the “bad-blood” between Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his brother Yaya did   not come as a surprise to many. Yaya Toure who has been one of the "engines" behind Manchester City successes in the last years, saw his status at the club reduced to nothing in the hands of new coach, Pep Guardiola, who he had previously had a rift with at Barcelona before coming to City.

Image
German International Thomas Muller after Germany’s World Cup Qualifier game, in which they won 8-0, criticized Fifa and UEFA saying it was a waste of time playing against San Marino. He said: “I don't understand the point of such uneven games like these, even moreso because of the crowded fixture list. "I understand that for them it is special to play against the world champions, I understand also that they can only defend with tough tackling. "For this reason, though, I wonder if these are not games which bring unnecessary risks.”

PHOTO: Oops! Manchester City goal keeper Claudio Bravo praises old club Barcelona, saying they are better Man. City!!

Image
I do not know of any City fan or fans, but where ever they are, i do not think they would like the statement from their goal keeper, Bravo... and if you now consider is present form, which is at not really impressive since coming to City, this statement could be a concern for the fans, but definitely not for Pep... Man. City shot-stopper Bravo who came into Manchester City club from Barcelona granted an interview in his native country Chile, that suggest the goal keeper who is about 33-35year-old, might still be in love with his old Club Barcelona.

PHOTO: Real Madrid are back at Manchester United’s door again, as they prepare to trigger David De Gea £52m release clause, come January transfer market

Image
Manchester United according to unconfirmed report, are set for another transfer battle with European giant, Real Madrid, as they are calling again for the interest of goal keeper David De Gea. If you could recall, Real Madrid almost took David De Gea, if not for the last minute delay from the Manchester club, in the last day of the transfer market, De Gea would have been a Madrid player, if not for that deliberate  delay from United.

PHOTO: See the epic tweet reply by Michy Batshuayi to a Chelsea fan who trolls him for being a “bench warmer” at Chelsea

Image
Michy Batshuayi is not the one to mess around with, especially on social media.  The Chelsea forward is one of those that is very active on social media (twitter), so it was not a surprise what happened to a fan who tries to troll him for his inability to make Conte’s first eleven for Chelsea, and the Belgium team during the World Cup qualifier game which they won 8-1. The 23year old who came into the club last transfer market, has been finding it tough to make the team, due to the super form of Diego, and he is not alone on this, as such players as Febregas are also struggling to find their way into the team. See the tweets:

PHOTO: Eden Hazard's father, lash-out at Chelsea fans for calling his son “rat” after his misunderstanding with Coach Jose Mourinho

Image
Hazard who is in super form, has been regarded as the one person behind Chelsea’s form this season thus far.  His performance in the world cup qualifier for his country at the weekend, also prove the player has a lot of potential to be one of the greats in world football.   After his poor show last season, and Chelsea missing out of the top four, and the sacking of Jose Mourinho, Chelsea fans did not waste any time to label Hazard, Fabregas and Diego Costa as those that “rats” on manager Jose Mourinho, and his eventual sack from the club. Well, is over some months now, the father to Eden Hazard speaking during the weekend, recalled the incident, and said he did not find it funny watching his son, and seeing that, was disheartening.

PHOTO: Lewis Hamilton wins his toughest race in Brazil to keep his title hope alive with just 12points in one race remaining

Image
The race was tough, as the weather was poor with race track wet and making it difficult for drivers, but Lewis Hamilton and his team mate, were able to see the race through with a one-two finish again this year. All he needed was to keep winning and praying for a slip from his team mate Rosberg, thus far, that prayer is yet to materialize, as Rosberg is doing all he needed to do, just stay second or win a race and the Championship is over

PHOTO: Donald Trump, fires “we are going ahead with the wall, and I will deport 3million illegal immigrants at my first day in office”

Image
After the announcement of the election results that saw “world and America most hated man” Donald Trump winning, the world saw a different Donald Trump (so we all thought), when he was giving his acceptance speech. He mounted the podium gracefully, with smiles and gave a very nice speech, that kind of gave some people hope, saying maybe he did not meant all that he said during his election campaigns...but watching and listening to him on CBS’s 60minutes chat programme, he is still same man! Donald Trump! . The President elect, when asked about his plans for deportation, he simply said: "What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably two million, it could be even three million, we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate.”

PHOTO: John Obi Mikel put out a tweet refuting media reports, that he is been cut-out off Chelsea's team by Conte, because of his decision to play at the Olympics rather than fight for a place at Chelsea

Image
After some reports in the media yesterday, quoting the Nigerian football senior team (Super Eagles) Captain ,is not been looked at in terms of  first team selection by Conte at Chelsea, because of his decision to represent Nigeria at the just concluded Olympics. Mikel who clearly is trying to stare-clear off controversy, has refuted the claim, by tweeting to put the record straight.  He said what actually the situation is, between him and his Coach at Chelsea. See the statement he just released on his twitter handle:

PHOTO: Briefly on the “Electoral College” in the United State of America Election

Image
The Presidential Election of the United State of America, has come and gone, with the Republican candidate Donald Trump defeating his Democrat counterpart Hillary Clinton to the White house. But what most of us do not know is that, unlike some of the elections around the world, or that of Nigeria for instance, the United State Electoral process, especially that to the office of the President and that of the Vice President, is different. I know during the elections, or after the election and the counting of votes, some of us might have come across the usage of  “Electoral College” by some of the politicians or pundits monitoring the elections, and did not really get what it actually meant or means in the election of the United State of America...here is a brief explanation:

But remember, eight years ago, President Bush and I had some pretty significant differences.
