Manchester United and Jose Mourinho, finally unveiled their £40million new signing from Chelsea, Nemanja Matic. The player who signed a three year contract with United, is set to make yet another reunion with Jose Mourinho for the second time.

The top gist from NBA right now, is that of Cleveland Cavalier and the possible trade of Kyrie Irving, who was rumoured to have gotten over eight teams interested to trade. But incoming and one time NBA Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose is asking Kyrie Irving to stay, as he hope to play alongside him and Lebron James, for a possible Championship win next season. We all would agree they are on a different timeline than Derrick — a young team with great young talent there and trying to build something for the future. Nigerians especially politicians have been talking and complaining about the President being away for too long, that some are beginning to count the number of days the President have been away from the Country.  But the question still remains, by being away on medical leave for almost 100days now, is the President violating the rules of the Nigerian Constitution?  The 1999 Constitution clearly answered the above question, and I would like to share for those who do not know about this.  The 1999 Constitution, even as amended, made no provisions as to how long a sitting President can be away or stay outside of the country. The only thing that came close and which President Buhari already fulfilled before leaving for London, is this section:(145).

Sometimes you wonder why some Nigerians like to talk-down on their leaders and Country, on every 'little issues'. Most times, once a foreign President or personality say degrading things about our country (which most times are not correct), rather than stand up and correct such people or insinuations, we join the bandwagon to further pull down the country. I woke up this morning, to see on social media, the program i saw on CNN last night (The GPS by Fareed Zakaria on CNN) was making headlines in Nigeria News media...which such headline as: "CNN MOCKS NIGERIA" Just because of the above question. Now, you ask yourself, was CNN like they claimed really 'mocking' Nigeria or Nigerians or we are the ones making a fool out of ourselves, by giving such an headline it did not deserve? Does Fareed understands our how Constitution operates, and what does the 1999 Constitution say about President's absence from the country?

Barcelona could in the next 48hours, be saying their goodbyes to their player, and Brazilian International, Neymar.  A fresh report from Qatar suggests that Neymar who did not travel back with Barcelona after their pre-season tour, is waiting behind for his medicals with Paris Saint Germain. Though Barcelona officials gave reasons why Neymar did not travel back with his other team mates back to Spain, as because of his scheduled endorsement deals in China he had to sign; so he left US for China to sign the contract papers, and will join the team afterwards. But the Arab Newspaper suggests otherwise, saying Neymar, will be in China, sign his Contract with a Chinese sponsorship outfit, from where he will be meeting with PSG officials, to finalize his move to the French Club, with a possible Medical, as early as Tuesday, 1st of August, 2017.

Real Madrid Captain, Sergio Ramos after their defeat to their rival, Barcelona, responded to the transfer rumour surrounding Neymar. The Spanish International who was disappointed in their results so far in the preseason, said he would be happy if Neymar should leave, insisting that would be a great relief for Madrid. The European Champions, Real Madrid suffers yet another defeat from Spanish rival, Barcelona, as Lionel Messi scores as early in the early minutes of  kick off, to give Barcelona a well deserved victory. Goals from Messi and Rakitic gave Barcelona a 3-2 win over Real Madrid in Miami. The Real Madrid fast rising star, Marco Asensio came in and showed the big boys of Real Madrid how it is done, as he put one back, to level the game before the break. The game was without the usual el clasico drama, as both teams gave the fans some real el clasico challenge, which the packed up fan in the stadium loved. Unfortunately for the thousands of Real Madrid fans, their team without Ronaldo were beaten from goals from usual suspects on the Barca side. But shortly before the break, the referee waved away Messi's claims for a penalty as he went down under the challenge of three Real players.

After the misunderstanding between him and fellow team mate at the training ground, Barcelona Star, Neymar has reported back to the team, ahead of the clasico game tonight. But the talk of him leaving Barca to Paris Saint-Germain, has been one hot topic in the mouth of everybody, most especially his team mates. Since the news broke out that he wanting out, his fellow teammates have been voicing their views, and one of such people, has been Gerard Pique. who when asked by ESPN, said all that has been going on, can only be stopped by Neymar himself, and the earlier the better for everybody. Keeping Up with the Kardashian star, Khloe has taken to her social media page, to share a stunning picture of her 'mommy' and grandma, 61year old, Kris Jenner, whom she referred to in the picture as 'Bad'. He said while urging world football governing body, FIFA to adopt same in all its competitions. A mom who claims to have used her breast milk to a recipe for her brownies, have been receiving alot of some hash comments on her facebook page. The news which according to  Allthemoms.com, was said to have happened with a mom who wanted to make brownies (not amala oh) for her child, discovered she was out of milk and could not go out and get one at the store, so she decided to use her breast milk for the brownies instead. Afterwards, she took to her facebook page to post a question asking if it was right to do so. Is like your wife or mom serving you milk with her breast milk...lol..see her post and the reactions:

The question of if Alvaro Morata was worth all that millions of British pounds or not, has started pouring in, after just two games, and they are not kind comments. Manchester City and Pep Guardiola, has made an incredible offer of £400,000 per week deal to  Arsenal's player, Alexis Sanchez, and are also offering Arsenal £50million for the signature of the Chilean International. A fee, I feel they will find hard to turn down, given Sanchez has just one year left in his contract. Alexis Sanchez who is reported to be back to London, is yet to report to team camp, as he is rumoured to be sick and under medication. But it is yet unknown if he would agree to a new deal of £275,000 Per week, which Wenger offered the player, or force in a transfer request, so the club can allow him leave.

The English Champions missed alot of chances, and could have easily beaten Inter by many goals as possible, but the Italian side did their best to contain the English side, while they ran home with a 1-2 victory on the night in Singapore.

Finally Pictures surfaces online of Everton's officials, actually presenting a club jersey to one of African's long serving President, and a dictator, Yoweri Museveni of Uganda in his office. This to me, is very disappointing to see, and you would want to ask, what was the Jersey meant for? to make him encourage football in his country or what?  There is no doubt for the last few years, the Ugandan Football has seen alot of improvement, but what  can a man that cannot encourage popular participation in an electoral system in his country do to encourage football development. Since he cannot give Uganda people popular democracy, he is sure not capable of encouraging Sports.

After the Nigerian Senate passed the Bill supporting the 'Not Too Young To Run' Group, in their amendment of the 1999 Constitution, on age limit, the lower House has followed their colleague to support the bill. The House of Reps who were unable to vote on the same Bill yesterday, due to some 'test run' being carried out on the voting system; ended up voting today (Thursday). The out just like that of the Red Chamber, was in favour of the Bill, supporting the move.

Reactions have been trailing President Donald Trump's move to stop transgender from serving in the US Military, sighting heavy cost of medical care. It is said that it will cost the Government about $8million in medical bills for the transgender soldiers, who are just about 1.5% of the entire US military population. This according to the President, would be better is they do not serve in the Military, so that such 'unnecessary' expenditure will be channeled to other pressing needs. He also insists that what it takes to maintain a transgender (medical wise) in the Military, is far more than what is being spent on a non-transgender person serving in the same US military. This surely is a bombshell to the transgender community and those already serving in the US military. It seems to me, like he tricked them; especially the likes of Caitlyn Jenner who openly supported Trump during his campaign in the Presidential election. The group, 'Not Too Young To Run' who in the last few days, have caused gridlock in the road leading to the Nigeria National Assembly in Abuja, all in their quest for a political inclusion of 'Youths' in running the affairs of the country, has released a press statement. The Press Statement released by the  group, commended the Leadership of  the Nigerian Senate, especially the President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, for his leadership so far in the Senate, and passing the bill as they have requested. The Group which stormed the National Assembly during Senate deliberations on the review of the Country's 1999 Constitution, asked for age reduction in running for offices such as Federal Legislative offices, Governor, and Office of the President. A Senator Representing Kogi West, Senator Dino Melaye was the Senator that received the group, on behalf of the Senate President, and Speaker Dogara was on hand to receive them at the House, and there demands,

English Premier League side, Liverpool has placed an outrageous amount of £133million on 25year old, and their key man, Philippe Countino; as Barcelona move inches closer, at securing the signature of the Brazilian International. A Widow of a Police Office of the New York Police Department has given birth to their child three years after her husband’s death.   Pei Xia Chen and late husband Wenjian Liu as reported by People.com welcomed their daughter, Angelina on Tuesday, through a preserved sperm, that belongs to her late husband. Late Wenjian Liu was an Officer, who was just 32, when he shot and killed while on duty in 2014, along with his colleague inside a patrol car. On the night of the shooting, Chen asked for her husband’s semen to be frozen.The couple was married for three months before his death. While speaking to reporters, Liu’s mother said the baby was: “like an angel, like my son is an angel. I’m just so happy.”

After paying a visit to President Buhari in the Abuja House in London, the Governor of Imo State, Rocha Okorocha, who led the delegation of  some APC Governors, the Party's Chairman and a Minister, said he was shocked to find that the President is doing fine, contrary to the rumour being spread. The Imo State Governor lambasted rumour mongers for giving Nigerians false information, as he said, the President is well, and not in Hospital or in any life-support, as he is full of humour. He said further that, the President is doing well and in the Abuja House, taking a rest, and being giving some vitamins in order to gain some weight where necessary, as Doctors recommend.

The Transfer market so far this season, has seen some of the craziest deals in the history of world football, and most especially in the English Premier League. The top teams have made some big signings, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City, all spending big in order to make an impact next season. As the League sponsorship money increases, clubs are no longer shy to spend, and sell as they know wining or remaining in the league, sure will bring alot of money. But the focus is on Manchester City, who are desperately in need of success, and are bringing in players to make sure they have it.

As the club look to build for next season, and maintain their premier league status, they are bringing more experience. Bardsley, 32, will be their second signing from Stoke, after bringing in Walters, and the two of them are coming with alot of experience...  While unveiling the new signing, manager Sean Dyche insist: “Phil brings experience. He knows the division and his way around it and he knows there’s a real competitive element to the squad and he’ll have to earn the right to play,”

Manchester United midfielder, and French International, Paul Pogba might have just confirmed the likely exit of Zlatan Ibrahimovic from the club, as he tweets calling himself the leader of the team. Though it is not yet certain if Zlatan will continue playing for United after his recovery, and with the departure of Wayne Rooney, the team will surely need a leader aside the captain. Zlatan Ibrahimovic even with Rooney around, provided that, as his presence alone was all the other teammates needed and they were all good to go. He even led the way in front of goals, as his goals got them the trophies they won last season. But Pogba who lacks that leadership qualities, is stepping up, as he feels since the exit of Wayne Rooney and possible Zlatan, the onus lies on him to resume the mantle of leadership of the club.

Talking of protecting what you have, especially if they have brought you so much success; and that is what Golden State Warriors has just done, penning down the most important players in the team, aside Green, to a contract, as they look to retain the NBA Championship next time around.  The NBA franchise put up a post regarding this on the social media page saying: "The 2017 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors have re-signed free agents Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, Zaza Pachulia and David West to contracts, the team announced today.
