President Buhari being welcomed home (NGRPresident) The President of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, today, arrived his home town of Daura in preparation of the Eid El Kabir celebration, which is set for Friday, 1st of September 2017. The President who left Abuja for Katsina State after the executive meeting was received by people of his state, led by the state Governor himself, Mr. Aminu Bello Masari and other top personalities from Daura.

The President who received the team at the executive council meeting, praised the girls for the win, while also promising N1million naira each for the girls and 500,000 for each of the officials.

Charles Chukwuemeka  Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy, and his 'OurMumuDonDo' group has taken their protest to the Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, asking for the immediate repatriation of Nigeria's  former Minister of Works and Petroleum, Mrs. Diezani Allison-Madueke. A call the group is saying is for her to come and face trials for all the corruption charges leveled against her, which are alleged to be running into billions of dollars. Even some properties in choice areas in Lagos and Abuja and some monies in different bank accounts allegedly belonging to her, were forfeited. A law court in Lagos on different occasions have ordered for the immediate seizure of the said assets after she failed to claim them within the grace period given by the court.

After President Trump's move to place a total ban on transgenders serving in the United State  Military, as he insists they are adding more pressure to the budget of the US government more than the 'normal' personnel. Though the move attracted alot of criticism across America,  MTV has gone a step further to show their support to the transgender service men and women, in this year's VMA's. Almost all of them present at the award, put on an outfit with their service post written on the front of it, while it was just one that decided to come with her full military uniform. After releasing her music Album 'Look What You Made Me Do', Taylor Swift has also launched her own magazine, titled 'Reputation'.  The singer who seems to be relaunching herself, has taken to publishing, as she teamed up with some experts in the business to release 'Reputation 1&2. The Magazine which comes with the Album, will be officially be released to the public by November 10, 2017.
