According to media report credited to Governor Shettima of Borno state:  "former President Olusegun Obasanjo would have rescued the Chibok girls if he was still in office, as the former president is more committed to national unity than any other president we have ever had"!  Is this man trying to tell us something that we do not know? thought Boko haram started during Obasanjo's regime or is he trying to separate Bokoharam from Chibokgirls?? or is the Buhari/APC led administration not committed enough sir??

A church in London  which i am guessing is a Nigerian church, was fined for holding noisy services in the middle of the night.  we reported the loud sermons earlier this month, but the place of worship has since been slapped with a heft y fine.

The Sokoto State Government says it has set aside N30 million for the organisation of the wedding of 100 couples in the area, which will be coordinated by the state Sunnah Mediation Council.  The Chairman of the Council, Alhaji Aliyu Kofar-Rini, disclosed this in Sokoto, saying the wedding would be conducted before the commencement of Ramadan, which is expected to begin in June. He said the council, would pay the bride prices of all the female partners: N30,000 for spinsters and N20,000 for divorcees. Kofar-Rini said:
