Leichester moved level on top of the Premiership table with Arsenal, after City draw!
The surprised team of this season in the English Premiership, Leicester City held title favourite Manchester City, to a goal less draw, and have continued to show that they can give any team a run for their money, especially the 'big money' teams. If they continue like this, pundits might have to begin to have a change of heart, and start thinking of this team as a genuine title contenders.
The game between Leicester City and Manchester City, saw the likes of Sergio Aguro and Sterling coming back to the City team, but with the absence of their captain Kompany. The Manchester team dominated possession in the early half, but failed to create a clear-cut opportunity, and Leicester keeper showed why his team has been where they are on the table, by pulling some smart saves from the Manchester team. Aguro was taken out in the second half, with Boni and Kelechi coming in, as Manchester city look to take all three points; but Leicester kept to their game plan. Vardy and counterparts threatened several time, but the second half was game of both half compared to the first. with both keepers making outstanding saves to salvage a point and a clean sheet for their respective teams.
Leichester has been in a good form, and took everybody by surprise, given where they were last season, and the sacking of their coach; few saw this coming. But football pundits have argued this team do not stand a chance for the title, Should we write them off now? remember what they did at the championship level to get to the premiership?
