EPL:Chelsea midfielder Ramires is close to joining Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning for £25m, .

Ramires has been with the Blues since 2010, when the club paid £19.8m for his services from Benfica, and only signed a new four-year contract in October.

The 28-year-old has started 15 first-team games for Chelsea this season, scoring three goals, but he has found first-team
opportunities under interim manager Guus Hiddink hard to come by.

His last appearance was in the 2-0 win over Scunthorpe in the FA Cup earlier this month and he is yet to appear in the Premier League since the goalless draw at Manchester United on December 28.

If he does make the switch to Jiangsu Suning, Ramires will be managed by another former Chelsea player in Dan Petrescu.

Former Tottenham midfielder Paulinho is also currently playing in China for ex-Blues boss Felipe Scolari at Guangzhou Evergrande.

Karen Bass has won the heated Los Angeles Mayoral race against billionaire businessman Rick Caruso and will now become the first elected female and second Black mayor of Los Angeles. According to reports, Karen Bass narrowly defeated billionaire developer Rick Caruso in the highly contested mayoral race on Wednesday. With 70% of the vote tallied, Bass had amassed an insurmountable lead of nearly 47,000 votes. After a week of counting, the longtime congresswoman, 69, who has represented California’s 37th District in D.C. since 2011, won the mayoral race with just over 53 per cent of the vote as called by the Associate Press. Blueface Allegedly Shoots At A Man In Truck Videos Shows

The arrest of rapper Blueface over murder arrest Monday is based on an incident on October 8, where he is accused of pulling a gun and shooting at the driver of a truck, TMZ reports. According to TMZ, a video obtained of the incident shows the rapper outside a Las Vegas club last month, when a truck suddenly pulls up at Blueface and his crew before flooring it away. Blueface allegedly pulls out a weapon in the video, and fires it multiple times at the driver as they sped off. According to sources at the venue, the unknown driver walked into the club earlier and the rapper’s crew, who had allegedly been drinking, attacked him. It’s not clear what started the alleged altercation, but sources told TMZ Blueface wasn’t directly involved in the fight.
