PHOTO: Celine Dion Too Grief-Stricken to Attend Brother Daniel's Funeral

It's been a devastating week for Celine Dion, to say the least.

Just one day after her husband's funeral, the 47-year-old singer attended the memorial for her brother, Daniel Dion, on Saturday.

However, Celine did not attend Daniel's funeral on Monday, as she and her children
could not continue two more days of public mourning.

Instead, Celine paid her final respects to Daniel at his memorial service, which was held at Salon Charles Rajotte in Repentigny.

Daniel's funeral was held at St-Simon-et-Jude parish in Charlemagne, Québec, where the family was raised.

Daniel -- one of Celine's 13 siblings -- died of cancer on Jan. 16, just two days after Celine's husband of 21 years, René Angélil, also died of cancer. He was 59 years old.

On Friday, Celine bid an emotional farewell to her late husband in a public funeral at the Notre-Dame Basilica -- where Celine and René were married in 1994 -- in Montreal.

The "My Heart Will Go On" singer leaned on her children for support during the heartbreaking service, holding hands with her 5-year-old twins, Nelson and Eddy, and staying close to her 14-year-old son, René-Charles.

René-Charles spoke at the funeral to honor his late father, who died just two days before what would have been his 74th birthday.

"Dad, you are a tough act to follow, but with your help, everything is going to be fine," René-Charles said.

"Dad, I promise you we are all going to live up to your standards."

As one of his final acts of love to his wife, Rene planned his own funeral to spare Celine the grief of having to do so herself.
