PHOTO: Liverpool beats Stoke City on Penalties to reach Carling Cup Final

Liverpool this evening, beats Stoke City 6-5 on penalties to reach Carling cup final, and are set to win it a record 9th time in the history of the competition.
After settling for a  one-all-draw in both legs, it was penalties that finally settles who will go to
Wembley.  At the end of the penalty proceedings, it was Liverpool that had the day; with Liverpool goal keeper Mignolet giving his club the day; as he  got the penalty save that is taking Liverpool to the Wembley.

This was after Allen converted his on spot kick to ensure their passage.
Congratulations to Liverpool, as they awaits the winner between Everton and Manchester City in tomorrow's second semi-final second leg.
