NIGERIA: Sunday Oliseh chicken's out of the Super Eagles Job! choi! because of Dollar ti won?? LOL
According to media report, the coach of the super Eagles of Nigeria Sunday Oliseh, threw in the towel just this morning, via twitter.
The message as suggested in the media is that Oliseh, who is fun of using the social media to pass message across to his players, NFF, Nigerians and most importantly, the Nigerian press, has continued his habit, and this time, he decided to throw in the towel as the head coach of the national team.
This is at the time Nigeria needed a coach for the crucial African Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt next month! bad timing you say? well, Oliseh knows best...
Oliseh's tweet:
" Due to contract violations, lack of support, unpaid wages, benefits of my players, assistant coaches and myself, I resign as Super Eagles Chief Coach".
He also appreciated the support of Nigerians in his following tweet:
" I feel fortunate, blessed and eternally grateful for having the honour to play, captain and coach this great nation, Nigeria".
My take in all of this is, if Oliseh is going to resign as the Chief Coach of the national team, he should do it the proper way, by putting in a resignation letter, and not through the social media, which is anything but unprofessional.
I also will advise that we do not take this story to heart, and wait for an official announcement from the coach, and the Nigeria Football Federation, before we can take our stand and conclude. so for now, we "siddon wait"LOL
