PHOTO:Kachikwu apologises to nigerians and begs Civil right groups not to protest, says queues to disappear

According to news report, the minister of state for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, has apologized to Nigerians, and promised to end the fuel crisis in few weeks.


He said that the long queues in the country’s petrol stations would disappear on Monday, April 7, 2016. 


The minister disclosed this when he appeared before the Senate committee on Petroleum (Downstream) over the fuel scarcity ravaging the country. 


The Minister said: “By 6th or 7th April, the long queues in filing stations would disappear.” He apologized to Nigerians over his statement that the biting fuel scarcity will linger till May.

The minister also, said he will not resign, and those calling for his resignation and are planning protest, should use that fuel that they are about to burn to come from Lagos, and other parts of the country, to protest in Abuja for other meaningful uses, as he is here to do the work trusted on him by the president, and until the president says otherwise, he will not resign….
