Many fans feared for Wayne Rooney’s international future following stunning displays from Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy in the England’s 3-2 victory over Germany at the weekend.

However, the bitterest pill to swallow for the Manchester United captain was when his own son asked for the name of Leicester’s Vardy on his Three Lions shirt.
Rooney’s position in Roy Hodgson’s team has been pretty much automatic in recent times but the 30-year-old is by no means a guaranteed starter going into Euro 2016.
Kane and Vardy are currently the Premier League’s top scorers so perhaps it’s no surprise people want to wear their shirts – even if it is the son of England’s all-time record goalscorer.

Poor Wayne.

Extreme athlete Felix Baumgartner, the first skydiver to fall faster than the speed of sound during a 24-mile leap through the stratosphere more than a decade ago, died in a crash along the eastern coast of Italy. He was 56. Italian firefighters who responded said a paraglider crashed into the side of a swimming pool in the city of Porto Sant Elpidio. Felix Baumgartner,   56, fell to the ground near the swimming pool of a hotel while flying over the village of Porto Sant'Elpidio in the eastern Marche region. Porto Sant'Elpidio's mayor, Massimiliano Ciarpella, said reports suggested Felix Baumgartner may have suffered a sudden medical issue mid-air. The Austrian daredevil made headlines in 2012 when he broke the world record - and the sound barrier -   for the highest-ever skydive, jumping from a balloon more than 39km (128,000 ft) up in the stratosphere. PHOTO: Pop star, Brandy hospitalized after losing consciousness inside a plane

American music star, Brandy has been hospitalised, after report suggest that the singer lost consciousness on a Delta Airline flight at LAX Friday morning...but has since been rushed to the hospital...   Eonline reported that police said officers and firefighter-paramedics had responded to a report of a person who was "unconscious or almost unconscious" shortly after boarding a Delta Airlines plane and that Brandy was transported to a hospital.
