According to the Nigerian Navy  one Charles Ekpemefumor, also known as Charles Parker, has been declared wanted for alleged hijack of MT MAXIMUS off Cote d’Ivoire waters on Feb. 11, 2016.

The statement issued in Abuja on Thursday by the Director of Navy Information, Commodore Christian Ezekobe. Said:
 “In the course of investigations, it was revealed that one Mr Charles Ekpemefumor also known as Charles Parker, is the mastermind of the hijack attack on the MT MAXIMUS.
“He was alleged to be responsible for the leasing of mother ship MT DEJIKUN used for the hijack from one Mr Mustapha Kenny Gani through a third party called Mr Steve Paul.
“A letter of invitation was sent to him on April 15, 2016 to enable him come for questioning on the allegation but several attempts to ensure his compliance proved abortive.
“Accordingly, Mr Charles Ekpemefumor Alias Charles Parker, is hereby declared wanted by the Naval Headquarters in other to unravel the circumstances of the hijack of MT MAXIMUS.’’

Ezekobe appealed to Nigerians with useful information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect to report immediately to any naval formation, military or security agencies for prompt action.

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
