PHOTO:John Terry has taken a huge pay cut to remain at Stamford Bridge for one more season.

Chelsea Captain agreed a one year extension to stay with the west London giants yesterday, following months of speculation.
Despite lucrative offers from around the world, it seems Terry has accepted a significant decrease in his wages to stay with the club he’s been with for his entire career.
Chelsea initially looked reluctant to offer Terry a new deal, but it seems an agreement was struck due to the 35-year-old now being on just £55,000 per week, down from £150,000.

It also seems that there is no coaching role written into his contract, though the former England man does still plan to undertake a career in management at some point.
Despite Terry being kept on by Chelsea, it seems likely that incoming manager Antonio Conte could still try to sign a new defender, such as

Juventus Leonardo Bonucci
