PHOTO:Nnamdi Kanu IPOB seeks $800million dollars compensation from the federal government for his continued detention and ill-treatment in the prison

According to media report, the continued detention of the self acclaimed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr Kanu, has taken a dramatic turn, as the detained leader heads to the ECOWAS court to seek justice and release of his person from the Nigerian Government.

The report suggest that Kanu has been in detention despite several court orders granting him bail, has asked the West African regional court for a $800million from the Nigerian government for violation of his human right, since his arrest.

Kanu, who has been in detention since October 14, 2015, admitted before the court that he was the founder of IPOB, a body he said was duly registered in over 30 countries of the world. He further told the court that Radio Biafra Limited was duly registered under the United Kingdom Companies Act, 2006, and certified by the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales certificate registration number 9141882.

Speaking on his human violation, he said: “amounts to the worst dehumanisation, degrading treatment and torture.”  But the West African regional court, is controlled by the Nigerian Government, so this is confusing to me, or is it that the lawyers do not know this, or is just bad advising you will want to say? LOL
