PHOTO:Inter Milan sacks Roberto Mancini as Frank de Boer set to take over

According to news report, Inter Milan parted ways with their coach Roberto Mancini after just two years in charge, and this was made in a statement released by the club yesterday.

It was also reported that the former Manchester City coach would be replaced by Frank de Boer.

His departure comes after his relationship with new Inter owners Suning Holdings broke down over the summer. A statement on the club's website said he leaves "by mutual agreement".
Dutchman De Boer left Ajax in May and was linked with a move to Everton and Southampton before Ronald Koeman and Claude Puel respectively filled the posts.

Mancini was promised a significant transfer budget when Suning Holdings purchased a majority stake in the Milan club in June, but only one major signing has arrived this summer in the shape of Italy midfielder Antonio Candreva from Lazio for €22million.
