According to media

Manchester United and Chelsea this week over a deal to sign star striker
Gabriel Barbosa.
The Santos striker, who is nicknamed Gabigol, is one of the most sought-after players in Brazil and the likes of Juventus, Leicester City and Inter Milan are believed to have had bids rejected for the 19-year-old forward.
Barcelona and Arsenal
have also been credited with an interest in the striker, who has hit 21 goals
in each of the last two seasons.
Jose Mourinho’s side
have spent close to £145million this summer but Roma has confirmed that he held
talks with the Red Devils, as well as Chelsea and Atletico Madrid, over the
signing of Barbosa and team-mate Thiago Maia this week.
‘We had productive conversations,’
‘We didn’t come to buy
or sell players, neither in London or Madrid. We came to build relationships.
‘There weren’t offers,
but we did talk about partnerships. I talked to Manchester United, Chelsea and
Atletico Madrid.’
