PHOTO:Thierry Henry thinks Arsenal fans are right to boo their team after opening day defeat to Liverpool!!
Arsenal legend Thierry
Henry after seeing his team lost to Liverpool at the start of the new season,
believes it was fair that Gunners fans booed their manager, after the final whistle of the 4-3
defeat to Liverpool.
The French man was
quoted to have said:
‘They were nice at 1-4 down, they got behind
the team,’
‘At the end it’s fair if
fans are upset with another bad start to the season.’
The Frenchman also feels
that the likes of Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil should have played, despite
having been in action at Euro 2016
.
Henry said, ‘I would
have played,’ in reply to the question, after watching Arsenal fall to yet
another loss where their defence looked below par.
Manager Arsene Wenger
has failed to invest in his back line this summer, despite Per Mertesacker and
Gabriel Paulista suffering injuries after Laurent Koscielny had taken part
heavily at Euro 2016.
