PHOTO:Gary Neville feels the Manchester United lost derby game to City, just ‘damage’ Jose Mourinho ego and reputation as a manager...really? so quick? Hia!
According to former United player and Valencia Boss,Gary Neville
believes Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho’s defeat to Manchester City, has
deflated his ego and would have to respond as quickly as possible as failure to
do that, could prove costly to the team’s title challenge.
Manchester United and Jose Mourinho were taught the game of football by the
Pep Guardiola Manchester City side...The game was totally one sided in the most
part of the first half, but changed in the second, but City showed class and
determination to win, and that win they got...
... Though Jose Mourinho has agreed to take the blame for the defeat, it
also showed United lack the bench that can effect a change such as that... team
for 40 minutes at Old Trafford and could not make up the ground after going 2-0
behind with 36 minutes played.
After the game, Neville shares his
views, saying the defeat to arch rival and United’s title competitors will have
‘dented’ the Portuguese. He said:
‘For Pep Guardiola and City it’s a big day, to come and win here against
a Jose Mourinho team is tough.,’ Neville said
‘He doesn’t lose many games at
home, and it’s a big, big moment.
‘Ultimately it means City have bragging rights this week, and that I
won’t appear in Manchester as much as I would have done if United had won!’
