According to Gary Neville, Manchester United coaches have been finding it difficult to play Wayne Rooney where he is more profitable for the team, and one other coach that is currently having headache on this, is the new coach Jose Mourinho!

After the derby defeat, comes the blame game...first it was the manager, Jose Mourinho trying to use referee as an excuse to his team defeat to Manchester City...and now, is the former Manchester United player and a coaching staff of the David Moyes era at the club, Gary Neville trying to tell the world where the manager got it wrong and who or not to blame...but why now, and not before the game or season??

He said Wayne Rooney is now becoming more of a winger in the United shirt, and gave his views on that: he was quoted to have said:

‘Wayne Rooney moving from No.10, he [Mourinho] said he’s a No.10. He’s now a right winger. He’s having the same deliberations around Wayne Rooney’s position that the last four or five managers have had that have managed him,’ Neville said on hi Sky Sports podcast.
‘Do you play him No.10? Do you play him at centre forward? Do you play him in midfield? Do you play him on the left wing?
‘The reality is Wayne Rooney will have to play in different positions and Jose Mourinho has obviously seen that today. He wanted to get more strength into midfield with Pogba and Fellaini in front of Herrera and Rashford came on on the left.’

Rooney’s position came up last week when he played in midfield for England, seemingly against the wishes of Sam Allardyce who had named him as No.10. Rooney played it down though: ‘Too much is getting made about it,’ he said
