PHOTO: After first game for Spain, Manchester United star, Ander Herrera promised to frame "debut shirt"! Lol
If you frame your shirt just for a call up game that was
not even a competitive match, just an ordinary friendly, i wonder what you would
do if you win the world cup...tattoo the shirt on your body i guess...lol
After earning his call up from his national team Spain,
27-year-old Herrera, just could not hide his joy, as he said after the game
that it was all he had wished for, and he would definitely frame his shirt to
remember the day.
He said: "Wembley is the best stage for a
debut,"
"It was so exciting and an honour to represent my
country. I will have to frame the shirt."
"We will take pride from this performance and
fightback," he continued. "That showed our footballing ability and
character. We finished the game very strongly and whilst it was important to
beat Macedonia, tonight we showed our fighting spirit.
"Another team would have surrendered but we did not
give up and that shows our quality as a team, it shows the togetherness of our
group."
