As  federal government plans to close the Abuja Air-port, Police deploys Helicopters to monitor all movements along the Kaduna-Abuja express way


The proposed maintenance of the run-way and closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International air port in Abuja have generated a lot of criticism, without the government through its ministry of Aviation yielding to pressure from Nigerians, and foreigners alike...to phase the project rather than total closure...

Diplomats, citizens and even politicians have kicked against the plan, giving lack of adequate facilities in the Kaduna airport, security issues and the bad road leading to Abuja...

But all that seems to have been handled by the government or is being handled by government, as the police are ready to deploy Helicopters round the clock, to ensure the safety passage of travelers going into Abuja from the Kaduana Airport, which is about 35 to 40 minutes drive....the project is to last for six weeks or there about...
