PHOTO: Nigerian Senators blast Attorney General, insists Customs Boss, Hameed Ali ‘Must Go’

The Nigerian Senate sitting earlier today, 22nd March, 2017. has unanimously asked the Nigerian Customs Boss, Hameed Ali to resign his appointment as the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs...
Before arriving at this decision...even though we all knew that was what will be the end call...the Senators blast and carpeted the alleged letter written to the Senate, stopping Hameed Ali from appearing before the Red Chamber, by the Attorney General of the Federation...due to on-going Court "process"...

The Senate which was chaired by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, in their usual proceedings, has asked the Clark of the house to read-out the letter written to the Senate by the Attorney General’s office...

While reading the letter, the Attorney General according to the letter, has ordered the Senate to stop any talk of inviting the Customs Boss, or mentioning his name in the Chamber, as a case has been filed in a law court, so anything done as relating to the Nigerian Customs Boss, will be going against the Court of Law...

Having listened to the letter, the Deputy Senate President then opened the floor for senators to contribute their  views...and as usual, the Senators speaking one after the other, condemned the Attorney General’s letter, calling it interference, and nobody can stop the Senate from carrying out its duties...

Senator Dino Melaye, who has been in the news for some weeks now, over certificate forgery...was more vocal of them all, saying “speak the truth, and you die...If you do not speak the truth, you die still...so, I will speak the truth..”

The Senator representing Kogi West Federal Constituency, wearing an outfit that looks like the Nigerian flag, said, the Attorney General, does not have the right, temerity, and audacity to question the actions of the Nigerian Senate...

...saying how can a man that we screened and made the Attorney General of the nation write us to stop further investigation on the Nigerian Customs Boss, because of “a mere Court Proceedings, that is not even an injunction”...

After they have all shared their various views on the matter, it was a unanimous call from the Senators for the immediate resignation of the Customs Boss...who has failed to appear to the Senate with his “Uniform”....

...we bring you more, as the last have not been heard on this “Hameed Ali Vs Senators”
