According to report by Sahara reporters, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has discovered yet another N2billion naira lodged in an account in GTBank by a former Commissioner in Niger-state...

It is safe to say that the EFCC has really gone full gear with their fight on corruption, as this alleged latest discovery is coming just few days after a total sum of N13Billion was discovered in a tower in Ikoyi Lagos...

...the latest discovery of N2billion in an account is said to belon to one Mr Kantigi Liman who was the former Commissioner of Local Government in Niger state, and also a former Governorship Candidate of the PDP in Niger State...

According to the report, Mr Liman who has earlier been declared wanted over N4billion traced to his GTBank account before this latest discovery, putting the total sum of money discovered under the name of Liman and his alleged company, to N6billion naira...

The former Governor of the state is still under arrest with the EFCC, and there has been protest for his released, but Mr Kantigi is said to be nowhere to be found...
The Commission is yet to make any official statement as relating to this, but we keep up updated as to when they do...

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
