The above was the statement credited to Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho on his take on Chelsea winning the Europa Cup, just a year after winning the Champions league...

...same Europa Cup he condemned then, is still the same Cup he is doing everything possible to make sure United wins...and mark in his word, a 'perfect season'...
Former Liverpool manager, Benitez, won the Europa Cup trophy for Chelsea, in his first and only season at the club, before the Chelsea fans kicked him off the job...with the help of the Russian Billionaire of course..But that is not the point here...
On his return to Chelsea, Jose Mourinho was asked about Chelsea winning the Europa Cup and what was is take on it...he said:

'When I returned, I felt the experience of Chelsea playing Europa League was not good,' 

 'The Europa League is a different competition (to the Champions League), the Europa League is a different level of competition for a different level of player and a different level of club. 
'It is not good for a big club to go there and win it. 

'It is better for the evolution of the players and for the evolution of the team to be in the Champions League. Even if you are not successful, even if you do not win it. It is better to be in the Champions League. 

'This is what I want to keep giving to my players and obviously we are completely open, we are good enough to, one season, to win it. 

'I think the Champions League gives us a different thing to the Premier League. The Premier League is our competition and the Champions League is a competition that belongs to many different cultures.' 

...fast forward to present day Manchester United and see what he thinks about the competition...

Manchester United are currently 5th on the premier league table, and are also in the Europa Cup semi finals...and they need to do two things here...one is to win the Europa Cup, which will be first in their history, and that of Jose Mourinho, and go to the Champions league next season...or fight and get into the top four for the Champions league spot...But here is Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United take on Europa Cup:

"It will be the perfect end to the season,"

 "A difficult season, lots of matches, trying to build a team, trying to recover a certain mentality, trying to finish the season playing a European final.

"It will be the perfect finale for Manchester United."

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
