Femi Fani Kayode has reacted angrily to the
suggestion by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in his address at the just
concluded 50th Anniversary of the Biafra Civil War in Abuja...
...the former president said in his address, that those
agitating all over the country, should try and come to the roundtable to discuss rather than take up
arms against the entire nation...saying there is enough 'cake' to go round and that call for break up is senseless and uncalled for...
The former President who himself played an
important role in that war, said Nigeria is large enough, with abundant
resources that can go round and that who so ever feels the ‘cake’ they are getting
is ‘small’ should come forward, and the Federal government will give ‘more cake’
to them, so that we can all live as one Nigeria...He said:
“There is
enough cake to share, but I think, we should even appeal to those saying they
want to go, we should not tell them to go, we should make them understand that
there is enough cake to share.
We should continue to massage Nigeria just like
in a love relationship until we get result...”
But the former Aviation Minister and former
Assistant to Obasanjo, Fani Kayode, has come out to question the speech of the
former president as regarding the sharing of ‘cake’ on his twitter
handle...See:
The devilish
dwarf and little pygmy that said Igbos should not complain about
marginalisation because they didn't vote for Buhari is a....
I believe that it is the height of naivety and deeply insulting to say that the way to stop the Biafran agitation is to offer the Igbo cake.
