KOGI POLITICS: Fear grips Senator Dino Melaye as he seeks Court Protection over 'recall'

The Political Theatrics that has been going on in Kogi state Nigeria, for the last few weeks now; which some of the Waring factions thought was a mere joke. (political humour as one of the major act called it) seems to have gotten real...

In fact, so real that, people like Dino Melaye had to rush to Court of law to file a suit against his recall by his constituency...

A move that has been said was a kind of 'delay mechanism' to frustrate INEC and people of Kogi West...until 2019 when he will be seeking for another election...and some have argued he is going to Court, just to seek legal protection and to avoid being disgraced...what ever his reasons are (which is obvious anyways), having over 56.2% voters signed your recall letter, is no child's play...o ti oh...LOL
...and of all the lawyers we have in Nigeria...Dino could not find any one to representing him, but the one who keep disturbing our eardrums on how he has defeated the EFCC and Federal Government 15times and all other gibberish....

...A lawyer whose reputation in the public eye is fast dwindling (I will not mention name...but he is from Edo State) to battle his recall...

Again, I ask...what manner of argument are Senator Dino and his 'Lawyers' going to place before the Judge?

I mean, your constituency felt you have misrepresented them in the National Assembly (politics or not) and they have done the rightful thing, by following the Constitution to recall you...

 so, the honourbale thing Dino should have done, was to leave his seat and return to his constituency...and listen to his people on why they have recalled him...(abi the guy no dey watch yoruba films...when dem call you for big bowl of water or mirror you answer..O Oh!)

...rather than getting a Lawyer to selfishly delay the recalling process...or were they not the people that elected him? If no, then the Court and INEC should ask him and his lawyers for those who elected him...

...If the process can lead to him being finally recalled from the Senate...it will really be a big joy and a precedence set for other larger than life politicians...who think Nigerians are fools...

After Dino recall, we start recalling others who think Nigerians do not know their rights....I wish one can recall a Governor too...lol
 which if my little knowledge in law is correct, does not really apply here...as the pwho is a major actor and person of interest in all of this, to seek

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
