BREAKING: Nigeria House of Representatives backs the review of age-limit Bill in their 1999 Constitutional Amendment
After the Nigerian Senate passed the Bill supporting the 'Not Too Young To Run' Group, in their amendment of the 1999 Constitution, on age limit, the lower House has followed their colleague to support the bill.
The House of Reps who were unable to vote on the same Bill yesterday, due to some 'test run' being carried out on the voting system; ended up voting today (Thursday). The out just like that of the Red Chamber, was in favour of the Bill, supporting the move.
This was how they voted:
Reduction of Age:
Yes: 261,
NO: 23,
Abstained: 2
...they also dropped the giving more powers to state, and supported what happened yesterday in the Senate.....
