PHOTO: In a bid to reduce pollution and stop over 40,000 annually death, UK to ban diesel and fuel powered cars by 2040

The United Kingdom, today (Tuesday) announced unofficial though, that the use or importation of diesel and fuel powered cars will be banned from their territory, 23years from now; as they work towards protect the environment and air pollution caused by diesel and fuel products.

Since it is now the new drive and initiative of most European top economies, like France for instance, are putting in place a plan to also switch to electrical cars, to also cut the emissions from diesel and fuel powered cars. The UK government are following same line, though a bill is expected to be passed today (Wednesday) on this, after it was held up, pending the elections, it yet unknown how it will be received and supported.
A news report quoted one of the UK government officials as saying:

"Poor air quality is the biggest environmental risk to public health in the UK and this government is determined to take strong action in the shortest time possible.

"That is why we are providing councils with new funding to accelerate development of local plans, as part of an ambitious £3 billion programme to clean up dirty air around our roads.

"Our plan to deal with dirty diesels will help councils clean up emissions hotspots - often a single road - through common sense measures which do not unfairly penalise ordinary working people.

"Diesel drivers are not to blame and, to help them switch to cleaner vehicles, the Government will consult on a targeted scrappage scheme, one of a number of measures to support motorists affected by local plans."

Kylie Jenner  channeled a siren of the 1990s in her latest sexy promotion for her clothing brand Khy.    The reality star, 27, who posed in a bikini identical to one supermodel Claudia Schiffer wore in 1995, channeled another blonde bombshell for her latest look - Pamela Anderson.    The influencer was dressed in a red halter dress wearing a blonde wig inspired by the former Baywatch star's famous updo, which she wore often in the 1990s. In another nod toward The Last Showgirl star who has taken to stepping out in public makeup-free, Kylie Jenner kept her makeup muted with a soft natural looking lip and subtly shiny eyes. In the video, she seems to be bored while sitting at a table in a hotel room and slowly pushes a glass of wine off the edge and onto the floor where it crashes, breaking the glass and staining the carpet.
