The group, 'Not Too Young To Run' who in the last few days, have caused gridlock in the road leading to the Nigeria National Assembly in Abuja, all in their quest for a political inclusion of 'Youths' in running the affairs of the country, has released a press statement.
The Press Statement released by the group, commended the Leadership of the Nigerian Senate, especially the President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, for his leadership so far in the Senate, and passing the bill as they have requested.
The Group which stormed the National Assembly during Senate deliberations on the review of the Country's 1999 Constitution, asked for age reduction in running for offices such as Federal Legislative offices, Governor, and Office of the President. A Senator Representing Kogi West, Senator Dino Melaye was the Senator that received the group, on behalf of the Senate President, and Speaker Dogara was on hand to receive them at the House, and there demands, have since been passed by the Senate.
