PHOTO:Ignorant Nigerians Saying 'CNN Mocks Nigeria Over Long Absence of Buhari', What does the 1999 Constitution Say?

Sometimes you wonder why some Nigerians like to talk-down on their leaders and Country, on every 'little issues'. Most times, once a foreign President or personality say degrading things about our country (which most times are not correct), rather than stand up and correct such people or insinuations, we join the bandwagon to further pull down the country.

I woke up this morning, to see on social media, the program i saw on CNN last night (The GPS by Fareed Zakaria on CNN) was making headlines in Nigeria News media...which such headline as: "CNN MOCKS NIGERIA" Just because of the above question.

Now, you ask yourself, was CNN like they claimed really 'mocking' Nigeria or Nigerians or we are the ones making a fool out of ourselves, by giving such an headline it did not deserve? Does Fareed understands our how Constitution operates, and what does the 1999 Constitution say about President's absence from the country?
Even a Governor in Nigeria, joined the disgraceful act of down-talking the country, in which he is a sitting Governor, and swore and oath of office to protect and rule according to the Constitution. He, rather than educate Fareed Zakaria and the likes of the Constitution in which Nigeria presently operates under, decided to fool himself, by taking to his twitter page to pen this:

Peter Ayodele Fayose @GovAyoFayose
I hope those who brought this shame upon our country will be honest enough to apologise and seek forgiveness. We warned.
God help Nigeria.

I feel Nigerians need to understand that in anything we do or say, it is Nigeria first! and nothing more. The President is on medical leave, and before he left the Country, it is on record that he wrote the National Assembly as required by the 1999 Constitution, telling them about his medical leave, and also transferring powers to his Vice, pending his return. Now the question is what does the constitution say? I am guessing you do not know...why not get one and educate yourself on that and stop mocking yourself....the Governor definitely needs prayers...Nothing is wrong with Nigeria as a country, is just the people! we are the problem....
