The much talked about boxing fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor has come and gone, with Mayweather carrying the day.
The fight which was tagged the biggest fight in boxing history, in terms of 'take home' and all the 'paparazzi showmanship', saw Mayweather maintain his unbeaten record, which is now 50-0, after knocking out boxing novice, Conor in the 10th round.
The fight generated a lot of hype and lived up to the hype, saw Mayweather taking home $100million just for stepping into the ring, and Conor $30million, the biggest of his career; as his highest take home all his career has been $3million before this fight.
The two fighters are also to get some pay from Pay Per View, Box Office, and Merchandising, taking their total earning for Floyd $350million, and McGregor $100million. The total money made from the fight according to PPV, is almost $1billion, with the previous record being $623million, biggest ever boxing returns from just one fight, with a ticket going from $3000 to $100,000.
