PHOTO: See new list, as President Donald Trump reviews travel ban list, adding more non muslim countries

President Trump seems not to be giving up on his promise to ban some selected citizens from some 'Muslim' countries, even as the case is still in court. Trump earlier today, was reported to have reviewed the old list, adding more countries to the list. The likes of Venezuela and North Korea and Chad are now the latest countries to have been added to the list, countries he perceives as a threat to the United State.

The new restriction is to take effect by 18th October, 2017, and state departments and other federal agencies have been given authorities to carry out the operation. But the old travel ban has already started yesterday, but no report of any arrest yet. The list of countries now banned not to enter the United State are:

Libya
Iran
Syria
Yemen
Chad
Somalia
Venezuela
North Korea

I feel Nigeria was lucky to have escaped Trump's ban, if not for the timely intervention of President Buhari proscribing the so called 'Indigenous People of Biafra' and his fight on Boko Haram, Nigeria would have found her name in the new list. I mean, Chad is just next door, and situations in Nigeria is far more worse than Chad, but because the President is doing something to fight terrorism and he is sincere in his fight, Nigeria was able to escape the new list.

We can argue and play politics all we want, if there is anything that is clear to everyone, is that the unity of Nigeria as a country was threatened, and it is still being threatened by those who are still aggrieved by past events, so they will go any lent to achieve their aims. Bad for them, Nigerians have seen their mischief, imagine how calm the polity was, after the deployment of troops to the South East, and proscription of IPOB.

Those who were initially mute on the issue, started voicing out and condemning the group and calling for one Nigeria....what a proactive leader does, not wait until situation gets out of hand..as Nigerians, we must not give relevance to anybody or group that does not want to see the unity of Nigeria...Forget what US embassy are rumoured to be saying on IPOB, the point still remains that the leader of the group has threatened to disrupt the unity of this country, and the government has done the needful...
